PRO CARE GROUT REMOVER is a specifically formulated acidic detergent blend designed to remove cement-based residues from porous and non-porous surfaces. This product is inhibited to prevent damage to metal surfaces while being strong enough to etch concrete surfaces at low dilutions. Care must be taken to ensure PRO CARE GROUT REMOVER is only used on acid resistant tiles.

DILUTION:

High strength: 1 part PRO CARE GROUT REMOVER to 10 parts for removal of laitance / etching of smooth concrete surfaces.

Medium strength: 1 part PRO CARE GROUT REMOVER to 20 parts water for removal of adhesive and grout from tiled surfaces.

Low strength: 1 part PRO CARE GROUT REMOVER to 30 parts water for removal of fine cement residues and hard water stains.

PRODUCT APPLICATION:

• Apply PRO CARE GROUT REMOVER to a small area first, to ensure the product does not damage the tile.
• On porous surfaces, wet the surface with water until the surface damp but not wet.
• Apply the diluted PRO CARE GROUT REMOVER with a mop, sponge or watering can and allow the solution to soak for 10 – 15 minutes and begin loosening the residues. Do not allow the surface to dry out.
• Scrub difficult to remove areas with a nylon bristled brush or broom taking care not to damage the tiles.
• Rinse the surface well with clean fresh water. Continue rinsing until there are no bubbles.
• Inspect the surface after it has dried and repeat if necessary.
• If the surface is to be tiled or sealed, neutralise the surface by washing with PRO CARE HEAVY DUTY CLEANER to ensure any residual acidity does not impair subsequent coatings.

PRECAUTIONS & LIMITATIONS:

a. Ensure that the above instructions are adhered to at all times and do not adulterate the product in any way as this could cause failure.
b. Rubber gloves should be used when applying PRO CARE GROUT REMOVER. In the event of contamination, rinse skin under cold water. Consult a doctor if irritation persists.
c. Keep PRO CARE GROUT REMOVER away from pets and children.
d. Do not ingest and do not empty contents down drains.
