1  Always wipe your feet before stepping onto floor boards when you come in from outside and use floor protectors on all furniture.	2  Lift and carry furniture onto floors. Never drag furniture across your Elf laminated floor.
3  It is advisable to wipe up spills on laminated floors as soon as possible (within 15 minutes).	4  To clean the laminated floor, use a damp laminate floor cleaner.
5  Do not use a spaghetti mop or shining agents. Do not polish or buff floors.	6  Install rain stoppers on external doors to prevent rain-water from damaging the laminate flooring.

 

 

Using Elf Laminated Flooring in the Kitchen

Occasional spillages wiped up quickly will not cause damage.

Look out for leaking washing machines and dishwashers as well as improperly secured overflow pipes, overflow sinks and wash bowls.

Be careful when defrosting fridges.

Fit a weather guard to your external door to prevent windblown rain from leaking underneath the door.

Special sweepers and mops are available for cleaning - never use sponges or squeegee type mops, scrubbing brushes or abrasive cleaners - a damp cloth can also be used.

A wide range of different wood grains and patterns are available to enhance the style of your kitchen.

Stain removal

Remove stubborn stains such as those caused by glue, paint, tar, chewing gum, permanent marker pens, etc., with a stain remover available at your Elf store.
