old pallets are used in the
manufacturing of Elf laminates.
The wood materials remaining
after production are further
used as thermal fuel in biomass
power plants, which provide
energy for various uses.

Elf PEFC or FSC certified
for sustainable forestry. This
means that areas where
wood is taken from for use in
Elf laminates are re-forested.

Elf laminates bind more CO2
(through photosynthesis) than is
released during the production
process and therefore makes
a positive contribution to the
environment.
